What a scam! I got duped out of $5,000 in under an hour. Thankfully, I stumbled upon głöbåLRęfùñds .Org, and they came through for me, helping me get all my money back.

As a citizen of the EU, I figured I could open an account with FXCM. They ask for an ID and proof of residency, which can be a utility bill, bank statement, or similar. I submitted my passport along with my latest bank statement, but they just brushed off the bank statement and insisted on a utility bill. Living as a tenant in someone else's place means I don’t have any bills in my name. They don’t care about that; they strictly want a utility bill and won’t take anything else, even though their own rules say you can use various documents to prove residency.
When I inquired why they wouldn’t accept my bank statement, their response was: "we can not accept your bank statement because it is not a utility bill."
What a bunch of geniuses...
I’ve been trying to get my account set up for 13 days now. All I get from support are useless copy-paste replies, with zero signs of actual help.
So, I decided to take my 50k to Pepperstone, and they got my account up and running in just two days. But man, I still wasted almost two weeks of my time.

They took their time to assist me with the problem on my computer and clarified that there was a service issue with the app, which is a different thing altogether, and that’s now sorted too.
